I'm an architect and designer, not involved in day-to-day operations, but I firmly believe that any system architecture must be thoughtfully designed for efficient operations, otherwise the Ops team will go mad in no time.
Over the years, I’ve been learning a lot from the book VMware Operations Management by Iwan E1 Rahabok, which covers everything related to vROps, Aria Operations, and now VCF Operations.
A few years ago, I discovered that a web version of the book exists, and I initially thought it had been fully converted into the online format at https://www.vmwareopsguide.com. However, I recently realized that wasn’t the case. It was simply an alternative way to access the content from Iwan’s book.
Anyway, I recently found out that https://www.vmwareopsguide.com has been retired, and I have to admit, I panicked a little.

However, after a discussion on Reddit, it was clarified that the shutdown of the vmwareopsguide.com website was actually requested by Iwan E1 Rahabok himself. He provided clarification and explained the situation here ... https://www.reddit.com/r/vmware/s/8vNOwVQlYI
Anyway, for others in the community looking for the valuable information Iwan has compiled into his book over the years, here are several links to download the latest VCF Ops (Private Cloud Operations) e-books. …
I'm confident the VMware community deeply appreciates Iwan's long-standing efforts in evangelizing Operations Management.
Thank you, Iwan.
